The nebulizer and Equisilver has been a life changing event

Hi Mickey,

The nebulizer and Equisilver has been a life changing event for Dulcie. Her breathing is really good have been able to keep our work going. She still gets mildly congested some days, and usually just coughs if at all only 1 good time and then goes on. She has not had a single day this spring where she stands in her stall heaving. We have not had to use the albuterol at all. We treat her with the Equisilver every other day. Even my trainer has commented that Dulcie’ s endurance is getting better.

It is my guess that I will need to always use this with her. I also made the decision to stop the allergy shots and see how it goes. Dr. Marcella can tell you that was not an easy decision for me as she had been on them 5 years.

Thanks again, I am so glad that we all crossed paths.

The Prognosis Was Not Good

Mickey,

I have been training horses for 40 years and have dealt with every type of throat issues there are. Mid June 2012 one of my 2 y/o fillys had a massive upper respiratory infection along with a soft tissue growth on her left arytenoid. The prognosis was not good, Dr Costelle recommended I contact you about your Equisilver therapy because he had seen some great results in the past. Continuing the nebulizer and head wash protocol as suggested, we scoped her after 8 days and she was perfectly clear. Thanks for all your help.

EquiSilver Does Wonders for 17-year-old Dulcie

Hi Mickey,

Equisilver therapy has been a life changing event for 17 y/o jumper Dulcie who has severe allergy issues. Her breathing is really good now and we have been able to keep our training going.

She still gets mildly congested some days, but can still work and usually just coughs if at all only 1 good time and then goes on. She has not had a single day this spring where she stands in her stall heaving, and we no longer need to use albuterol at all. Even my trainer has commented that Dulcie’ s endurance is now getting better than mine. It is my guess that I will need to always use this with her, I also made the decision to stop the allergy shots, Dr. Marcella can tell you that was not an easy decision for me as she has been on them for 5 years.

Thanks again, I am so glad that we all crossed paths.

Re: Equisilver, Aerosol Administration and Racing Performance

Dear Kenny,

I was just delighted to hear that my friend and colleague, Mr. Mickey Ballew, has been treating your horses with Equisilver Veterinary Aerosol with very good results. Mickey approached me some time ago with his Equisilver Veterinary products, and I was absolutely intrigued. Silver has a long history as an antibacterial, actually an antimicrobial, and there is a very good scientific basis for its anti-microbial actions. Because of this, I was fascinated, both as a scientist and as a veterinarian, by his interest in exploring its application in racehorses.

As you well know, a major limiting factor in equine performance is low grade upper respiratory tract infections. Because silver would appear to have very important applications in this area, Mickey and I discussed its use by aerosol, and I was considering approaching some scientific colleagues with a view to getting some experimental work done to generate scientific data on the efficacy of Equisilver Veterinary by the aerosol route.

It now appears that, in essence, Mickey has "field validated" the efficacy of his Equisilver Veterinary product. I understand from Mickey that he has treated number, 18 to be precise, of your horses on race day with the Transpirator and his Equisilver Veterinary product. And I understand that following these 18 treatments, you have had five first place finishes, three second place, two thirds and four fourth-place finishes, a very satisfactory response indeed.

The rationale for these very satisfactory responses is that the Equisilver Veterinary inhalation effectively eliminates low-grade microbial infections in the respiratory tract. The great advantage of silver is that it is a broad spectrum agent. Unlike antibiotics, which generally hit either gram-positive or gram-negative organisms, and probably not fungi and all, Equisilver Veterinary, by generating reactive oxygen species, is active against all types of microorganisms, bacteria, fungi and viruses. And, as Mickey and you have demonstrated, the improved respiratory function rapidly translates to improved racing performance. And as an antibacterial, Equisilver has no direct performance affects, and meets the criteria for a therapeutic medication.

As a scientist, it has been very interesting for me to see this excellent response to Mickey’s Equisilver Veterinary preparation, and particularly satisfactory to see its efficacy established in the field, which is where efficacy ultimately counts, rather than in the experimental laboratory, which is, at times at least, one step removed from reality.

In closing, let me extend my warmest personal regards, it is good to see you back training again, which is a particular skill of yours, and if I can be of any further assistance to you, or answer any questions in regard of Equisilver, or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Equine COPD

Mickey,

The therapy using the Transpirator and your silver has worked incredibly. As you know, when we received the unit, we had just decided to do some pretty aggressive treatment on this mare as she had been "off food" for the most part for 2 weeks and dropped allot of weight. She was almost immobile. She is 30 years old and COPD for over 15 years.

She had a fairly rough mid to late summer this year and had gone off of her food for the most part. She started losing weight quickly and was getting quite thin. We have used an albuterol inhaler for years and she wasn't getting relief. She was classic - terribly labored breathing to expel and honestly I thought we might be on her last legs. We had to "drag" her out to the pasture where the effort to move around was too much.

Because she was pretty critical, we started Dex treatments 20 mg per day for a couple of days before we received the Transpirator. She was feeling slightly better by day two - but was still off her food.

We used the EquiSilver mixed with the water at a rate of 4 oz of silver per hour. The combo of 7 days in a row on the Transpirator with the EquiSilver, 5 days on Dexamethasone and then reducing over the next week brought her back to life. She began eating all of her food and grazing actively. By day 7, she was cantering around the pasture with the young boys and to this day almost 2 months later she is almost asymptomatic in her breathing - coughs just a bit on bad pollen days but has gained about 150 pounds and looking really good.

The quote from my Veterinarian Dr. Tim Strathman DVM of Rockford, IL: " I have been treating this mare for close to 15 years and have never seen her so healthy."
